The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers based in Little Rock, Arkansas has a proud history of selfless service in the community. Various departments within the Corps of Engineers include community service, recreation, regulatory, hydropower, disaster response and military support.
Community services include environmental restoration, flood reduction and even emergency planning. Recreationally, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers manages various public lands and wildlife areas. Following catastrophic floods, engineers in the corps have even been first responders in clean up and reconstruction.
When ever the Army needs construction services or environmental cleanup they call the Corps of Engineers. Various governmental agencies also have the option of contracting the Corps. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers provides military discipline to academically backed practices.
