Louisiana has so many options for military academies. There are options for high school and college-level students. Choosing from one of the many military schools in Louisiana is tough. They all have something to offer prospective students.

Benton High School, in Benton, offers a Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps program for students interested in learning about the military lifestyle. Cadets may attend sporting events to support the Benton Tigers. Participating in community service activities is a big part of being in the JROTC.

C.E. Byrd High School, in Shreveport, also offers a JROTC program. Students work hard to earn promotions in the JROTC program. There are many different educational opportunities in the town of Shreveport for students to explore. Students can even visit the 8th Air Force Museum.

New Orleans is home to Tulane University. Tulane University offers an outstanding Army Reserve Officer Training Corps program. Students get to enjoy the rich culture and dining scene when living in New Orleans. There are endless chances to participate in community events.
