Wisconsin is the 23rd largest state in the United States and home to a variety of military academies designed to prepare students for life of military service. These academies focus on discipline, training and academics which give the student an edge when entering different branches of military service. St. John’s Northwest Military Academy was founded in 1884 and is located in Delafield, Wisconsin. This boarding school as a boarding school for boys grades 7 – 12, as well as a day school for grades 6 – 12. A challenging academic program is taught at this school and students may also engage in a variety of athletic activities such as football, baseball, basketball, cross country, tennis, hockey, rifle, wrestling, lacrosse and swimming.

The Wisconsin Military Academy is located t Fort McCoy, Wisconsin. Situated on 27 acres, Wisconsin Military Academy provides a military education, lodging and dining in one facility. All classrooms come equipped with computers, digital projectors and Smart boards. Single and double occupancy rooms are provided and appliances such as washers and dryers are available for student use. Recreation areas include grills, volleyball court and a horseshoe pit. Local attractions and recreational areas are just a short drive from this military academy.
