Military Schools in Minnesota
Minnesota Military Academies
Military academies are often chosen as a means to jumpstart a youth’s entry into a branch of the Armed Forces. Also, many youth within the public school system begin this journey by joining the ROTC (Reserve Officer Trainer Corps).
The state of Minnesota has some of the best Armed Forces schools in the United States. They include, but are not limited to: Starbase Minisoda which sets out to increase the knowledge, skills, and interest of youth from the inner-city in science, mathematics, and technology. Or the University Of Minnesota Naval ROTC, a Naval Reserve Officer’s Training Corp that offers students an exciting opportunity to start a career in the Navy or Marine Corp.
There’s also the Minnesota State University Mankato – AROTC: Offers an active Army Reserve Officers Training Corp which intertwines regular coursework into the Army training. And the Saint Thomas Academy: College-preparatory and military day school for students in grades seven through 12.
