Howe Military School of The Howe School is a private coeducational military boarding school that prepares boarders for college and the military. The school resides on a 100 acre campus in Howe, Indiana, and offers grades 7 through 12.
The school was established over a century ago in 1884 as the Howe Grammar School. The school name changed to The Howe School when it was established as a prep school for men seeking to become ordained to the Episcopal Church.
The school became a military school in 1895 about ten years after it was founded and coeducational in 1988. Company Alpha is an all-female company of the Corps of Cadets.
There are about 80 students enrolled with a student-teacher ratio of 8 to 1.
