Kansas State University is home to the Wildcat Battalion, an Army Reserve Officer Training Corps unit. The Wildcat Battalion prepares cadets for their future leadership positions in the U.S. Army. Students are expected to maintain good grades while participating in additional ROTC training events. There are so many extracurricular training options available to Wildcat cadets.
Cadets have the opportunity to attend various training camps during the summer. Airborne, Air Assault and Northern Warfare Training are just a few of the courses offered. The ROTC places a large emphasis on leadership development. Creating a positive and motivating environment for students to become outstanding leaders is what the Wildcat Battalion is all about.
