New Bedford High School in New Bedford, Massachusetts has a Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps program available to students. Students wishing to pursue the junior ROTC program can count on discipline and self confidence in addition to learning about military science. Students will even get the chance to practice drill and ceremonies.
Students will learn about military history, physical fitness and problem solving. Leadership training is one of the fundamental parts of the junior ROTC program. In addition to leadership, students are encouraged to become better citizens through community service. Helping one’s community is a good way for cadets to give back. The New Bedford High School Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps program helps students prepare for success post-graduation.
