The University of South Carolina in Columbia, South Carolina has an Army Reserve Officer Training Corps program. The ROTC program at the University of South Carolina challenges cadets to become better students and leaders. In addition to the traditional college curriculum, cadets study military science. Classes may involve subjects like troop leadership procedures and military history.
