The University of Vermont in Burlington, Vermont is home to the Green Mountain Battalion, an Army Reserve Officer Training Corps unit. Cadets in the Green Mountain Battalion work hard to attain academic and leadership achievements. Students that are interested in the ROTC program at the University of Vermont should consider applying for one of the many scholarship options available.
Instructors encourage critical thinking while inspiring confidence in their cadets. Cadets learn to lead by example. Weekly leadership laboratories are the best place for cadets to sharpen their skills. Cadets also get the chance to learn basic infantry skills during field training exercises. Cadets at the University of Vermont graduate well-prepared for their future endeavors.
