Brief Overview
Founded in 1884 as St. John’s Military Academy, the St. John’s Northwestern Military Academy changed its name in 1995 when it merged with the Northwestern Military and Naval Academy, another military academy in Wisconsin. The Delafield, WI campus is used though.
SJNMA offers grades 7 through 12 for boarders, but also has grades 6 through 12 for day students. Like many military schools and academies, St. John’s offers a year of post-graduate education which is done in partnership with the University of Wisconsin. A year of PG allows students to increase their test scores and athletics.
About 300 all male students are enrolled on this 110 acre campus.
