Cactus High School in Glendale, Arizona is home to a very dedicated group of Air Force Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps cadets. These cadets focus on community service, education and leadership training.
Volunteering is an important aspect of Cactus High School’s junior ROTC program. Cadets volunteer throughout the year during various community events.
Cactus High School offers its Air Force Junior ROTC cadets multiple educational opportunities outside of the classroom. Field trips have been made to visit the Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Spending a week at Space Academy is every young cadet’s dream.
In addition to community service and education opportunities, the cadets are encouraged to participate in leadership development activities. Field training exercises happen twice a year. Cactus High School’s junior ROTC program produces well-rounded students.
