The University of Idaho’s Naval Reserve Officer Training Corps program prepares students to become successful leaders. Students work hard academically and physically to become officers in the Navy or Marine Corps. The University of Idaho offers a challenging course of study to bring the best out of every future leader.
Military structure and an emphasis on leadership help young midshipmen hone the skills necessary to lead. Physical fitness is a big part of the ROTC program. Students should consider physical conditioning prior to starting their freshman year. The University of Idaho has various orientation programs for students and parents. Students work hard in and out of the classroom to become well prepared commissioned officers.
