Loyola College in Maryland is home to the Greyhound Battalion, an Army Reserve Officer Training Corps unit. Students at Loyola College Graduate well prepared for their military leadership careers. Cadets are required to meet physical fitness goals and participate in leadership courses. Military science is an important part of the ROTC curriculum.
Cadets will learn about military history as it relates to leadership and decision making. Students will also participate in various field training exercises. Many cadets see the Ranger Challenge as the highlight of the year. Training for the Ranger Challenge is hard work but cadets enjoy the camaraderie. The ROTC program at Loyola College is dedicated to producing graduates that are ready for leadership careers in the U.S. Army.
