Creighton University, located in Omaha, Nebraska is home to the Blackwolves Battalion, an Army Reserve Officer Training Corps unit. Cadets in the Blackwolves Battalion strive for academic excellence. Leadership laboratories are a great way for cadets to work on skills that will help them in their future careers. Military science courses are mandatory in conjunction with regular classes. Periodic field training exercises help to keep cadets focused on their military skills. Land navigation, first aid and marksmanship are just a few of the topics covered in the field.
Students interested in pursuing careers as U.S. Army officers have a lot of scholarship options available to them. Creighton University instructors serve as mentors to young cadets. The ROTC program prepares cadets for military excellence in their future careers.
