The University of Vermont in Burlington, Vermont is home to the Green Mountain Battalion, an Army Reserve Officer Training Corps unit. Cadets in the Green Mountain Battalion work hard to attain academic and leadership achievements. Instructors encourage critical thinking while inspiring confidence in their cadets. Cadets learn to lead by example. Weekly leadership laboratories are the best place for cadets to sharpen their skills. Cadets also get the chance to learn basic infantry skills during field training exercises.
