Auburn University in Auburn, Alabama is home to a comprehensive Naval Reserve Officer Training Corps. The university has ROTC programs for students interested in commissioning with both the Navy and Marine Corps. In addition to the basic ROTC programs, Auburn University also has various scholarly clubs for students with military interests.

The Naval Aviation Society of Auburn has a brand new, state-of-the-art flight simulation lab for officer candidates and midshipmen who are interested in Naval aviation. The Semper Fi Society is a great place to enjoy camaraderie among other Marine Corps officer candidates. Students interested in Naval nuclear power can join the Trident Society.
