Colony High School in Palmer, Alaska offers a rigorous Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps program. Students are motivated to succeed academically and personally. The program offers an annual leadership challenger during the summer.
Cadets participating in the leadership challenge can expect to conquer fears and gain self confidence. Survival swimming and traversing difficult obstacles courses are just a couple of the activities cadets will participate in. Many cadets find a higher level of self confidence after successfully completing the 34-foot jump tower.
Colony High School’s JROTC program provides structure and discipline for students interested in becoming leaders. Cadets regularly participate in helping their community. The Colony High School JROTC program places a high emphasis on leadership and community service.
