The University of Alaska Anchorage has Reserve Officer Training Corps opportunities for both the Army and the Air Force. Both programs are held up to the high academic standards expected of students at the University of Alaska Anchorage.

The Army ROTC program competes in an exciting Ranger Challenge every year. The cadets will compete with other schools in different categories ranging from survival skills to tactical exercises. Working as a team is a great way to boost morale during the school year.

The Air Force ROTC program at The University of Alaska Anchorage is known for their dedicated Honor Guard. Cadets participating in Honor Guard will become incredibly proficient in military drill and ceremonies.

Both programs include leadership programs and field training exercises. Graduates become well-rounded second lieutenants.
