Georgia US Military Academies
Riverside Military Academy was chartered in 1906 and is located in Gainesville, Georgia. This all boy boarding school sits on 206 acres and accepts enrollment for grades 7 – 12. Riverside Military Academy houses approximately 380 cadets and employs more than 45 teachers. Class size is small, with only 14 students per classroom. This school has newly renovated facilities that include a library, gym, indoor rifle range, weight room and well-lit outdoor athletic fields.
North Georgia College & State University is also known as the Military College of Georgia and is situated in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains in Dahlonega, Georgia. This military school has a large campus on 120 acres. Cadets at this school focus on physical fitness, academics and extracurricular activities such as fraternities and sororities. North Georgia College & State University is one of the least expensive military schools in Georgia and has been rated as one of the safest college campuses in the United States.
Benedictine Military School is located in Savannah, Georgia and is one of the state’s top military high schools. This school is the only Catholic military school for boys in Georgia. Benedictine Military School strives to provide boys with an exceptional high school education while instilling the values consistent with the Catholic faith. This school offers a JROTC program, extracurricular activities and community service opportunities.
