Ohio Military Academies
As one of the more populous states in the country, Ohio has plenty of military academies to choose from. From the religious John Carroll University to the Well-known Ohio State University, there is a military school choice for everyone.
Capital University, in Columbus, offers a great Army Reserve Officer Training Corps program. Families coming to visit cadets will enjoy visiting the various historic landmarks Columbus has to offer.
John Carroll University, in University Heights, has the top ranked ROTC program in Ohio. Cadets at John Carroll University get unsurpassed leadership training. Students also have the benefit of attending a religious school.
The University of Akron also has an Army Reserve Officer Training Corps program. Cadets in the Ohio Volunteers Battalion spend their free time conditioning for physical fitness and training for leadership roles.
Ohio State University has an outstanding Naval Reserve Officer Training Corps program. Ohio State University has been ranked as one of the best public universities in the country. In addition to academics, students enjoy attending Ohio State University’s athletic competitions.
