The Delaware Military Academy has a rigorous Naval Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps unit. Scholarship, leadership and citizenship are the three core values of the school. Students are given the chance to attain leadership positions by working hard. The military rank structure is merit based, and students can work hard to achieve their goals.
The school has a wide variety of extracurricular activities available to students including athletics and band. Students have the option to learn more about military history through participating in historic reenactments. Students are issued authentic Navy uniforms. The school was built with the similarities of ships in mind. In addition, Naval artifacts can be found in a number of classrooms. The Delaware Military Academy is a perfect choice for students to achieve academic success in a structured environment.
