Idaho State University’s Army Reserve Officer Training Corps program offers both two and four year programs. Cadets joining the ROTC program freshman year are indoctrinated into the military way of life while working diligently to maintain excellent academic grades. Students joining the ROTC program in their junior year must complete a Leader’s Training Course prior to the beginning of the fall semester.

Cadets at Idaho State University gain self confidence and discipline through the military structure in their studies. Many cadets enjoy training for the annual Ranger Challenge competition. The competition sharpens military skills and raises the level of camaraderie within the unit. Cadets at Idaho State University can expect to get an education that prepares them for their future leadership positions.
