Students from the Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology, Indiana State University, Depauw University, Vincennes University and the University of Southern Indiana make up the Wabash Battalion Army Reserve Officer Training Corps unit. Students get to sharpen their leadership skills while prepare for their future military careers.
In addition to traditional academic classes, students get indoctrinated into the military style of life. Land navigation, first aid and military justice are just a few of the courses that cadets take. Becoming a commissioned officer in the United States Army is the culmination of success for graduates of this program. The Wabash Battalion takes pride in producing graduates that are ready to lead soldiers.
