Derby High School in Derby, Kansas is home to an outstanding Air Force Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps unit. The junior ROTC unit takes pride in their community service initiatives. Cadets at Derby High School work hard to attain promotions in rank. Leadership and responsibility are two very important components of the Derby High School junior ROTC program.
Cadets strive to become better citizens in their communities. In addition to community service, cadets also compete locally in drill and ceremony competitions. Classes in team building, military science and leadership help to prepare cadets for their future endeavors. Cadets look forward to the annual military ball. Derby High School cadets are well prepared for post-graduation success.
