Tulane University is home to the proud Orleans Battalion Army Reserve Officer Training Corps unit. Academic excellence is the most important part of being a cadet. In addition to academics, cadets also keep up with Army physical fitness standards. Cadets in the Orleans Battalion spend time in the field practicing their basic infantry skills.
Military science is taught to students from their first year in ROTC. Attendance at leadership laboratories ensures cadets are well prepared for their future positions. Cadets are ready for life as a second lieutenant in the U.S. Army. Tulane University’s Orleans Battalion cadets work hard academically and in the field to prepare for their future careers as officers in the U.S. Army.
