Located in New Brunswick, New Jersey, Rutgers University has an Air Force Reserve Officer Training Corps unit. Students in the ROTC program at Rutgers University strive for academic and military success. Instructors teach about aerospace, engineering and history among other subjects. Instructors also serve to mentor students during their college careers.
Physical fitness is a requirement of the ROTC program. Many students enjoy the camaraderie of exercising with other cadets. Students get plenty of opportunities to learn outside of the classroom as well. Various trips are planned throughout the year to give students a hands-on learning experience. The Air Force Reserve Officer Training Corps program at Rutgers University prepares its graduates to be top notch second lieutenants.
