Capital University in Columbus, Ohio has an Army Reserve Officer Training Corps unit. Cadets in the Crusader Battalion work hard to achieve their academic and personal goals. Leadership is developed through training courses and leadership laboratories. Students are required to pass minimum physical fitness requirements to participate in the ROTC program.
Classes in military science and leadership prepare cadets for careers in military service. Many students qualify for scholarships to pay for tuition, fees and books. Capital University instructors serve as mentors for students, and they lead by example. After junior year, cadets must attend the Leader Development and Assessment Course in Fort Lewis, Washington. Capital University prepares students for success by challenging them academically, mentally and physically.
