Wofford College in Spartanburg, South Carolina offers an Army Reserve Officer Training Corps program. The ROTC program at Wofford College encourages students to excel academically and physically. Students are expected to do well academically while balancing their ROTC duties and schedule. Participating in physical fitness is a core part of the ROTC program. Students learn about military science while building a solid foundation for their future.
Students learn about leading troops and military tactics. Students also participate in regularly scheduled physical fitness activities. Field training exercises are where students get to demonstrate the tactics and skills they learn about in the classroom. Many cadets love sharpening their basic infantry skills. The ROTC program at Wofford College prepares cadets for leadership positions in the U.S. Army.
