University of Memphis NROTC

The University of Memphis in Memphis, Tennessee has an exceptional Naval Reserve Officer Training Corps program. Students interested in joining the Naval ROTC program should consider taking part in the freshmen orientation program. The program familiarizes new students with the Navy way of life. Classes on swimming, sailing and drill are included during this week long program.

The Naval ROTC program at the University of Memphis encourages students to become better leaders. Honor and integrity are two core values for midshipmen in the program. Courses in naval science cover topics ranging from warfare and weapons to engineering and navigation. There are various educational opportunities outside of the classroom as well. The University of Memphis prepares midshipmen for their future leadership positions.
