Dr. Phillips High School’s Air Force Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps unit teaches students military discipline. The cadets at Dr. Phillips High School spend time helping their community.
A great emphasis is placed on academic achievement. Many students enjoy conducting experiments in the model rocket club. The military ball is a highlight for most students. The Dr. Phillips High School color guard can be found performing prior to most football games. Students are expected to wear uniforms on Mondays.
Highly qualified Aerospace Science instructors help students to understand complicated concepts. In addition, educational field trips are taken throughout the year. Social responsibility and self discipline remain two of the core values recognized by Dr. Phillips High School cadets.
