The University of Utah, in Salt Lake City, Utah, has a motivated Army Reserve Officer Training Corps unit. Cadets at the University of Utah are dedicated to becoming the best possible leaders. Academic excellence and hard work are two important components in the ROTC program. Keeping up with physical fitness is key for students interested in becoming second lieutenants in the U.S. Army. Instructors serve to motivate and encourage students in their leadership goals.
Training occurs both inside and out of the classroom. Many students work on their basic infantry skills during regularly scheduled field training exercises. Mandatory leadership laboratories foster an environment for success. Cadets at the University of Utah graduate with a feeling of accomplishment.
