West Virginia University in Morgantown, West Virginia has both Air Force and Army Reserve Officer Training Corps programs available to students. Both programs have heavy emphasis on leadership development. Students participating in the Army ROTC program can expect additional classes in Military Science. Students interested in the Air Force ROTC program will be learning about Aerospace Science.

Both programs utilize physical fitness programs to make sure cadets are in top physical condition. Army ROTC cadets can expect to go on regularly scheduled field training exercises to learn basic infantry and troop leading skills. Honor and integrity remain important parts of both ROTC programs. Becoming a commissioned second lieutenant is the ultimate goal for cadets in both the Army and Air Force ROTC programs.
