Brief Overview
St. Catherine’s Academy, formerly St. Catherine’s Military Academy, is a Catholic military school in California. The Academy was founded by the Dominican Sisters of Mission San Jose in 1889. Grades K through 8 are offered along side a military structure. Both boarding and day students are accepted to this Anaheim campus.
The military program begins in 3rd grade. Drill training in the afternoon is also complimented by a week long summer camp in leadership.
The school at one point was an academy for girls, an orphanage, a school for boys, and a parochial school for families before becoming the military school that it is today.
