Henry County High School in McDonough, Georgia is home to the number one Naval Junior Reserve Officer Training Unit in Area 12. The “Warhawk” Battalion is ranked nationwide as one of the best junior ROTC units in the country. Warhawk cadets take pride in doing well academically and serving their community.
Cadets are active in many community events such as parades, food-drives and other various projects. They have even been able to tour different types of vessels including a submarine. Students at Henry County High School take their duties and responsibilities very seriously. Cadets work hard to maintain good grades while dedicating their spare time to community achievements. The junior ROTC military structure helps the cadets attain their personal and educational goals.
